Teenage boys can be gross, and what I mean by gross is disgusting. They can be somewhat unappealing and appear unwell-groomed. However, even adult men can make some of the same grooming mistakes as teenagers.
Teen boys will eventually be big boys, but until then, they’ll make nasty mistakes that make them disgusting and not look super great. If you’re over the age of 18, you also need to make sure you’re not making these.
Don’t make TEENAGER grooming mistakes!
- Dirty. Teen boys need to be more hygienic. Shower every day, even if you don’t sweat.
- Hands. Teen boys can have dirty nails and nasty cuticles. Often, they bite their nails, even after they haven’t washed them. Make sure your grooming game is strong.
- Pubes. A substantial bush is never a good thing because it’s nasty and makes weiners look small. It traps odor, too. Trim and shave your balls. Also, be sure to powder your balls every day after showering.
- Stinky. Often, teens do not apply or use deodorant properly. Deodorant is an essential tool.
- Eyebrows. Don’t pluck them too thin or too wide, making sure they look natural. Also, never shave them. Use quality tweezers. Watch the video demonstration to learn how to remove eyebrow hair properly.
- Ears. Use a Q-tip every day after the shower to clean your ears. Trace the fold of your ear; cleaning your ear properly will prevent blackheads.
- Breath & teeth. Keep your mouth moist to ensure your breath remains fresh by using hydrating mouthwashes and chewing gum. Visit the dentist every six months for a cleaning, ensure your teeth are white, floss regularly, and brush your teeth twice a day. Upgrade to an electric toothbrush. Manual toothbrushes are less effective, so consider using a sonic toothbrush instead.
- Sideburns & beard. Ensure they are not too high as they help to finish a hairstyle and frame your face. If you’re getting a skin fade or are bald, you may not need them. However, if you have a beard, transition the beard properly. Also, don’t rock a teenage patchy beard.
- Blackheads. Use Biore strips every two weeks.
- Skin care. Teens often neglect skin care and end up with breakouts. Testosterone is skyrocketing during teens’ years, which can create blackheads, breakouts, and blemishes. Wash your face twice a day, and moisturize twice a day.
- Hair product. Don’t use a crap ton of hair product because it will make your hair look oily, crunchy, and nasty.
- Hairstyle. You don’t want to look like all the young dudes on TikTok with crazy hair, broccoli bangs, and hair all over the face. It’s not a good look. Go for a classic style that’s more refined and elevated.
