Warts are over-growths of cells on hands and feet as well as elsewhere. Warts are not dangerous but can be embarrassing and annoying. Aaron Marino of alpha m. discusses his warts. He would pick and scrape at them, in attempt to get rid of them. Picking is the worst thing to do with warts!
Warts are caused by a virus that has gotten into your skin, causing an infection. An overgrowth of cells results. Anyone can get warts but they are most common with teens and children. Most of the time, they clear up over time. It can take years!
Wart Treatment Options
- Acid – Compound W liquid or pad. The acid causes the shedding of skin to dissolve the wart.
- Freezing – Dermatologists can do this for you.
- Laser
- Duct tape – A small piece on your wart is cheap but not stylish. It’s the McGyver of wart removal.
