You have a date with a girl — and you may be in a position to make-out a bit. It’s probably your job to make the first make-out move unless she’s drunk or a sexual savage.
Making the first move happens in every relationship, and at some point, you need to be ready to engage and make it happen. Just be a gentleman and respect her space. Take it slowly (you don’t need to sleep with her), because the slow relationships allow connections to build a better relationship.
Be a {Gentleman} When Making That First Move
- Make sure you’re not going to gross her out — clean ears, trim nose hair, brush teeth, scrape your tongue, powder your balls, use deodorant, and a couple of sprays of fragrance.
- Open the door(s) for her
- Body language speaks to you — signs that she likes you include moving closer to you, playful touching, preening, and touching her hair. If you don’t act on these signs, she’ll think you’re not into her.
- Close the distance when you’re getting ready
- Shut up and stop talking — look at her eyes then lips with each time getting a bit closer. Get in the zone.
- If she pulls back, laugh it off and don’t take it too personally. However, if it’s not happening after additional dates, it’s probably time to move on.
