I published a video discussing items that waste money a few weeks ago. Now, I want to discuss the opposite: some items are worth the money, even if they are expensive.
- Vacations. I just took a vacation, and it was worth the money. You can have some fantastic experiences that you’ll never forget.
- Toyota Tundra. Typically, it doesn’t have any problems.
- Power tools. Higher-quality tools like Milwaukee are bought once, and you don’t have to replace them.
- Art. Whether it’s a print or otherwise, it doesn’t matter. It’s worth the money because you enjoy it every day.
- Shoes. A quality pair of leather shoes will last a long time. Boots are cool and look great with age.
- Leather jackets. When you invest in a leather jacket, it lasts years and years and looks fantastic.
- A high-quality suit is hard to beat because when you put it on, you feel like ‘the man.’ Get it appropriately tailored and made of high-quality fabric. Check out Suit Supply because the suits are premium and less expensive.
- Watches. Whether it says $20,000 Rolex or something more affordable, watches are a super badass accessory. Aura watches are one of my favorites—quality at incredible prices. You can wear them for years and years, and every time you look down at your wrist, you feel confident.
- Cashmere sweaters. You look great now and in the future.
- Lululemon. These may be expensive, but they will last years and look like the day you got them. They hold up, are comfortable, and are high quality.
- Premium running shoes. There is nothing better than slipping on a pair of running shoes that are built super well. I replaced mine every few hundred miles. You need to take care of your feet.
- Electric toothbrush. It’s a must!
- Quality hair dryer. They are much better for your hair.
- Natural deodorant. It’s better for your body and won’t mess up your endocrine system.
- Hair care. Products found in grocery stores and drug stores can damage and dry out your hair. Skincare also falls into this category.
- Organic meat. Invest in expensive beef, chicken, and other meat. Quality food without hormones is essential.
- Mattress and bedding. Invest in a high-quality mattress, sheets, comforter, and pillows. There’s a huge difference when you sleep on a high-quality mattress. It’s not a sexy purchase, but you lay on it for at least 8 hours daily. It’s worth the investment.
- Technology is worth the money. As a sidebar, I don’t get any more satisfaction from a Vizio TV than a premium TV.
- Fitness equipment. This includes a gym membership. When buying fitness equipment from a sporting goods store or a Walmart, it won’t be as good and will be rickety. It will last a couple of years, but that’s it. You want to invest in higher quality until it’s built for commercial use and will last 20 years or more.
- Education. Investing money in improving your skill set or developing a high-value, higher-value skill is worth whatever you spend. Just make sure you keep an eye out for scam artists who are just trying to take your money. If there’s something you can do at a trade school or learn a different language, these skills can improve your earning potential and job opportunities.
