If you thought my house was crazy, wait until you see my garden! It’s on a 1/3 acre lot between my old and new homes that I bought so I could control what went on the property.
My motto is always, “Why do something when you can overdo it?!” So, I created the most epic garden. It has horrible topography — basically a big hole. Here’s what I did with it (including a parking pad, tiered gardens, limestone stairs, greenhouse, and a French fountain carved out of travertine!). The inspiration was the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, North Carolina, which is luxurious but also calming and grounding.
