In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro filmed a behind-the-scenes for the Tiege Hanley sales and product videos. Tiege Hanley is Alpha’s new company which offers an uncomplicated skin care system for men. Check out how the videography goes down!
Set Design
The set location is in Aaron’s home bathroom. Alpha wrote the scripts, and the first video is the ‘sales video’ for the landing page. The set-up is a light, monster rig, and an overhead microphone. Aaron will be standing in the opening of the bathroom. The floor has been marked where Aaron’s feet are place, and the camera is placed as well.
Aaron’s Considerations
Aaron has taken into so many considerations for this video shoot starting with his nails and cuticles. He also considered his facial hair grooming. Additionally, he wants to appeal to as many people as possible so he also took out his earrings. Many people may not know him, and earrings can send a message. He also took off his rings but kept on his watch. Aaron originally planned to wear a black v-neck tee shirt, but when they started filming, he actually opted with the white crew neck. This decision was made due to some people having an issue with v-necks as well as the white shirt contrasted better with the background.
Videography
Aaron and Christian will be taking about 6 hours to film all of the videos. The videos consist of a sales video and product specific videos for each of the 3 levels detailing when and how much to use. Using a motor slider, product shots are filmed swooping and zooming. Aaron also is filmed applying the products. Later they visit the studio for voice over. The main sales video is Aaron talking directly to the camera. Otherwise, voice over will be used over product shots.
