How to Have Clear Skin | Six Simple Skincare Tips
People often ask Alpha about his video topic inspirations. Aaron Marino of alpha m. displays his eyebrow bump– his inspiration! He’s now talking about how to treat ingrown hairs.
Is the swollen bump a pimple or an ingrown hair? A pimple is a clogged and infected pore. An ingrown hair doesn’t pop through the skin but still grows and becomes infected. If you shave and get a bump, chances are it’s an ingrown hair. Alpha constantly has ingrown hair because he shaves so much. He’s grown accustomed to it. To prevent ingrown hairs, exfoliate. Hairs will have a better ability to break through the surface.
Ingrown Hair Treatment
- Apply a hot compress – wet a washcloth and microwave for 15 seconds. Hold for a few minutes to open the pores. The infection comes to the surface.
- Exfoliation – gently exfoliate to stimulate the follicle. Use a soft bristled toothbrush or exfoliating brush for about 2 minutes
- Sterilize a needle or pin in alcohol. Get the needle under the skin and break the hair to the surface. Wipe the skin with alcohol.
