Which One Is Better?
Wurkin Stiffs are metal collar stays with powerful magnets. You remove your cheap collar stay (which means you need a shirt that has a removable collar stay) and then slide the Wurkin Stiff into the pouch. Put the magnet on the inside of your shirt to hold your collar. The Fashion Anchor is a fabric safe dot which you press to your collar. Both are good, but one is better.
- The Fashion Anchor looks more natural, and you can’t see it inside the shirt. Wurkin Stiffs look too tight and fake.
- To remove the Fashion Anchor, it simply is slowly pulled off with no build-up or residue. You can also leave it on if you aren’t going to laundry (reusable). If you accidentally leave it on and launder your shirt, it will come off in the washer. With the Wurkin Stiff, you need to remember to take off the magnet and stay — if you forget, you can lose the magnet.
- The Fashion Anchor can be used on polo shirts; whereas, the Wurkin Stiffs can’t work on polo shirts. Wurkin Stiffs don’t work on any shirt except a shirt with a removable collar stay.
- The Fashion Anchor can also be used with pocket squares and as a hidden button. The Wurkin Stiffs cannot.
- The Fashion Anchor is disposable, but the Wurkin Stiffs last until you lose them (they won’t break or wear out).
