7 DUMB Things Young Men Need to STOP DOING!

I might come across as harsh, but I have your best interest in mind. If you expect to live a fantastic life, which I know you can, you have to stop doing some dumb things. Here are the things you need to stop in 2024.

STOP(!) doing all of these

  1. Using your age as an excuse. Stop using your age to justify why you can or cannot do certain things. You are your own man, and it doesn’t matter how old you are. You have to be wiser at certain ages if you want something. You can achieve literally anything as the internet has changed the game. For instance, you don’t need much cash or a college degree to be successful.
  2. Doing self-destructive things. Stop sleeping with people that you shouldn’t be sleeping with, stop drinking in excess, and stop doing recreational drugs even though you think it’s no big deal. The sooner you can get in control, the better and cleaner your life will be. You will be on your way to achieving greatness.
  3. Waiting for things to happen. If you started what you wanted to accomplish when you wanted, where would you be right now? Imagine if you had taken action when you first thought about it. Perhaps a job, weight loss, career, side hustle — where would you be today? The sooner you can take action, the better. The more that you try and the more that you fail, the better you will be. Your mind will be strengthened, making you stronger and more hungry.
  4. Blaming other people for where you are. This includes why you’re not feeling the way you think you should. Your happiness is the most essential aspect you need to focus on, and the truth is a lot of people, including myself, have a difficult time finding it.   6. Listening to stupid people. Some people on social media don’t have your best interest in mind. What you feed your brain will dictate its health. Listening to subpar people weakens your brain and your resolve. It will undermine your ability to look at aspects of life creatively and constructively. Form your own opinions and understand that who you listen to matters. Do not believe and follow the herd; take information and decipher it yourself. Look for alternative resources to form opinions while looking for people’s motivation.
  7. Waiting for perfect timing. The ideal time is now. I don’t want you to feel failure; I want you to fear regret. Stop making excuses because nobody is coming to rescue you or save you. It’s your job and responsibility to achieve and take action. Focus on yourself and what you can do to be amazing.
