1. They make you feel bad about yourself — they spin it and make it about them or it’s not as great as it is.
2. They can’t control their anger and rage — they get so upset and lash out, losing their mind.
3. They fight dirty — they go for the death punch and know your hot button (even if it’s not relevant to the conversation) knowing it will hurt you.
4. They always disappoint you — they don’t honor their word or have integrity. If they promise and don’t deliver, it’s a testament to their character, and they don’t respect you.
5. They are always negative — they are worried about everything, are unhappy, and think the worst case scenario. There’s nothing worse than being around a pessimistic person.
6. They can never apologize or admit they are wrong — they won’t say they’re sorry. They never take ownership and will make excuses.
7. They are super self-centered — it’s all about them, and they are only focused on themselves. They think that the world revolves around them, and they always talk about themselves (aka narcissistic).
8. They are incredibly judgemental — they talk trash and point fingers. They are always bitching, complaining, and pointing out everyone’s flaws. They’re talking about you too.
9. They can’t take any type of criticism — they can dish it out but they can’t take it. They can’t even handle accepting feedback. They never change.
10. They don’t want the best for you — they love it when bad things happen to you and revel in your misery. That’s not normal. You need to surround yourself with people who love you so get the toxic people out of your life whether if you’re dating, friends, or family.
